Double-Slit Press
A new venture for Kelsey selling their prints, zines, and art games. The name for Double-Slit Press comes from the double-slit experiment in physics demonstrating that light exhibits wave-particle duality.
It is also kind of a sexy name.
Zine on the perception and digitalization of color printed using risograph (covers) and laser jet. Images include printed artwork and code work by Kelsey. Bonus: link to GitHub for a DIY coding project adjusting RAW images.
Screen print of magenta and hot pink dithered radial gradients on a yellow background. Dithering is the process of determining whether or not to turn a pixel into a printed dot based on whether its value meets a threshold. To avoid producing predictable patterns, dithering processes introduce randomness by taking the difference between the pixel value and its print/do not print threshold and offloading the difference to the neighboring pixel. By dithering a uniform gradient, you can see this process at work.

Hand-coded Ishihara Color Vision Test.
I am learning how to intentionally produce color gamuts beyond trichromatic human vision. These fun tests were an experiment along the way. They do not screen for any known vision problems. The infinity symbol represents the plasticity of the neurobiological visual system.
